Gillette Wyoming

This last week we got to go to Gillette Wyoming for Todd's work. Todd became an EMT back in March where he was able to be on the Mine Rescue team. He then was able to try out for the Mine Rescue Competition team which he made. So they had a competition in Gillette and I got to go. We left last Tuesday and it took us a little over 12 hours to get there. We went with another couple so that was nice. The first day that we were in Gillette we got to head out and go to Deadwood. This little town is so awesome. This is the town that Wild Bill was shot in. They haven't done a lot with this town they left all the building like they were and have just made all kinds of different businesses in them. After we left Deadwood we headed up to Crazy Horse. I didn't know all that much about Crazy Horse but it was so cool. It is going to be amazing once it is completed. We then headed to Mount Rushmore. I have always wanted to see Mount Rushmore and I am so grateful that I got that opportunity. It was an awesome experience. After we left Mount Rushmore we then headed to Sturgis. The BIG BIKE RALLY. WOW!!!!! This was quite the event. This little Idaho girl was a little out of her comfort zone. All I can say is I am glad I live in Idaho and have been raised the way I have been. My mother would kill me if she saw me doing some of the things that some of the girls were doing there.
