Happy 4th of July

We had such an amazing fourth of July this year. We took off to Malta Saturday afternoon after I got off of work. Malta had a little celebration that night it was definitely a small town celebration but I think those are the BEST.. We spent the night with my parents and then Sunday after church we went up the Elba canyon so Todd could do some fishing. Unfortunately he had no luck with the fishing but it was still fun to be able to get out of the house and head up to the mountains. That night Todd and I slept outside. We were going to sleep out Saturday night but something that we referred to as "THE GREEN MONSTER" when we were younger had taken over the valley. There is a big feedlot on the east side of Malta and sometimes when it is very dusty out there a cloud of yucky dust takes over the valley and it stinks so bad :) So we postponed sleeping outside till Sunday night and we only lasted till about two in the morning it was hot outside and we were getting eatin by the mosquito's so into the house we went. Monday we headed down to Rupert to the parade and had lunch at the Rupert Square. We then went to the horse races at the Fair grounds. We grew up going to horse races and I just love it and I think its starting to grow on Todd:) We then headed over to Lindsay and Chase's where we just hung out for awhile playing the wii especially JUST DANCE:) We grilled hamburgers for dinner they were so good GREAT JOB CHASE!! Then we headed over to Burley to the fireworks. It was a great fourth and I am so grateful for my family and for letting us celebrate the fourth with them.
